What is "Faith-Based, Intentional Living?"
A few years ago I wasn’t feeling lost, but I also didn’t feel like I was thriving. I knew what I wanted to work towards and live for but I didn’t have it down on paper anywhere so I didn’t feel like I was doing everything I could to accomplish my goals. Then I heard about intentional living.
Intentional living means to live a lifestyle based on your values and priorities and to be purposeful in word and action and living by decision not by default. If you want to live intentionally then you make a decision to live a certain way and by particular, set values and priorities.
As Christians, intentional living is extremely important because we need to work to intentionally live for Christ. We don’t want to just float through life, we want to purposefully live for Christ.
To live a faith-based intentional lifestyle, there are seven key areas to focus on.
5. Protect Your Innocence
Proverbs 4:23 NLT
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
7. Offer and Ask For Forgiveness
Colossians 3:13 TLB
1. Love God Above All Else
Matthew 6:31-33 NLT
2. Put Others First
3. Study The Bible
2 Timothy 3:16-17
4. Share the Gospel
Strive to live according to these seven areas and you are on your way to living a faith-based intentional lifestyle. I also like to intentionally add a little joy into my life because what fun would it be if you aren’t full of joy and happiness?
