Park Outing

I'm still figuring out how to drag a camera around with me while carrying the baby so excuse the not super awesome iPhone photos.

Mondays are Seth's only full day off of work so we get to spend the whole day together as a family. My morning started at 5:30 today. When I woke up to feed William I suddenly remembered that I had an appointment at 8:30 am for a glucose test (because I had gestational diabetes I have to be checked periodically for diabetes since I am now at a high risk for it). Luckily, I did not have a midnight snack since it was a fasting test. I am so glad I remembered because my OB doesn't let you miss like one appointment and I literally forgot until 5:30. I took William my test (which two hours long but he slept for the first hour) because Seth was selling his car to a friend and they were transferring the title over while I was at my appointment. Now that Seth's car has been sold we can officially pay off the last of the hospital bills and build our savings back up. We will be a one car family for a little while but it was either sell Seth's car now and get some money for it or wait until it dies and we get maybe one hundred bucks for it. So we opted for the one with more money, obviously.

Once we were all home and had lunch we ran a few errands and then decided to walk around

Long's Park

. I put William in my moby wrap where he slept for the entire walk until we decided to take a sit and let him out of the wrap for a bit. It was so nice for us to get out as a family and Seth and I were able to catch up on life. As soon as William came out of the wrap he woke up and was hungry. So what did I do? I breastfed in public for the first time! I am so proud of myself! I had an

Aden+Anais blanket

to cover us with and wore a nursing bra and nursing cami was nothing was showing but we got the job done. Now I feel more confident that if I needed to feed him while out, and about and I didn't have a bottle pumped and packed, I could do it. It was the perfect day for a walk and it was lovely to spend the afternoon with my little family.
