Stories of Love

A collection of beautiful and inspiring love stories from women around the Internet >>

Happy Valentine's Day! Today, tell those that are important in your life that you love them and appreciate them. It's the perfect day for it! Instead of sharing more about myself and my love adventure, I thought it would be the perfect time to hear the love stories of other bloggers. These ladies were so excited to participate in this post and I have to say it was lovely reading their stories.

First, I would like to introduce you to Brittany of

It all started in a tenth grade English class. I sat across from the love of my life without even knowing it. We were both shy and so young that we have had the privilege of seeing each other grow up. It was in our seventh year of dating when my fiancé asked me to marry him.

We both have been through birthdays, graduations, loss of love ones, new careers, and now starting a new chapter of our life. I couldn't imagine going through all of life’s twists and turns without him by my side. We are planning our wedding for this upcoming August and currently searching for our dream home. I’m so lucky that this is our eighth Valentine’s Day together. I feel so blessed to have him.

Meet Mary Beth, one of my all-time favorite bloggers. Her home is at

Annapolis & Company

where she shares amazing photos of her adorable kiddos (or schooners as she calls them) and her day to day life. As you'll see, Mary Beth is an amazing writer.

The first time I met Steven Johnson, I was 15 years old. My family had just moved to South Carolina and I fit the stigma of the new kid on the block to a ‘t’. I was painfully shy and self-conscious and not in the least bit fashionable or athletic. I loved music, though, and that’s the first thing I remember of our love story. That he loved it too. I used to go up to the church where he went to school and practice for hours on the grand piano in the quiet of the auditorium. And sometimes, I would find him sitting in the back playing his guitar, or visiting with his old school friends while I played.

All the girls had the hots for him and ironically, that was a huge turn-off for me. I didn’t much like boys that were popular and always gravitated towards people who were different with eclectic personalities.

He went away for the summer and we met again in college. This time, I was a freshman studying health and music, and he was a sophomore studying Biology. Almost as quickly as I had written him off, I fell in love with him. And I couldn’t quite tell you how it happened, only that we listened to a lot of music together and talked about California and how we had both left our hearts there.

We got married on a hot, summer day when I was 19 and he was 21. Most people said we were crazy for marrying that young and that we would regret not living life for a while before settling down. But my life

And almost 7 years later, 3 kids, and many moves, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Thank you ladies for being so open and sharing your stories. Every love story is beautiful and I find it so inspiring to hear the stories of others. What's your love story? How will you and your honey be spending today?
